CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Individuals who are nonconditional Green Card holders for at least five years can apply for naturalization upon meeting the following requirements:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Have lived within the state, or USCIS district with jurisdiction over the place of residence, for at least three months prior to the application.
  • Have continuous residence in the U.S. as a Green Card holder for at least five years immediately preceding the application.
  • Be physically present in the U.S. for at least 30 months out of the five years (60 months) immediately preceding the application.
  • Reside continuously within the U.S. from the date of application for naturalization up to the time of naturalization.
  • Be able to read, write and speak English, and have knowledge and an understanding of U.S. history and government (civics).
  • Be of good moral character in keeping with the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well-disposed to the good order and happiness of the United States during all relevant periods under the law.

TIMELINE & PROCEDURE

STEP 1 – Month 1

  1. Elite Citizenship & Investment will pre-screen your passport copy for government pre-approval before requirement of investment.
  2. A down payment of the professional fees is required to open your application (paid on signing of retainer agreement).
  3. Collection of the all the required documents according to the Government checklist.

 

STEP 2 – Month 2

  1.    Opening an escrow bank account under the applicant’s name.
  2. Transferring of investment:  $555,000 to the escrow account as well as other applicable fees are due at this stage.

 

STEP 3 – Month 3

File Submission to USCIS (US Citizenship and Immigration Services).

 

STEP 3 – Month 4-6

File Number Receipt I-797C.

 

STEP 4 – Month 6-9

  1. NVC (National Visa Center) will approve your file and transfer it to the U.S. Embassy.
  2. Remaining balance of professional fees are paid.

 

STEP 5 – Month 10

Payment of Immigrant Visa Fees and submission of the DS-260 questionnaire.

 

STEP 6 – Month 10-15

You are required to apply for a U.S. visa in your country.

 

STEP 7 – Month 16-18

Immigrant Visa is issued.

Once you have received your visa you must enter the U.S. to get your Conditional Green Card, within 6 (six) months.

PROGRAM COSTS

The USA EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program comprises two investment options:

1. Direct Investment

  • Make an investment of US$1 million in a new commercial enterprise or US$500,000 if that enterprise is in a targeted commercial area, including rural areas or areas with unemployment of at least 150 percent that of the national average.
  • Create full-time employment for at least 10 qualified U.S. workers who must be direct employees of the commercial enterprise.

 

2. Investment in a Regional Center

Regional centers are investment opportunities that have been preapproved by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. To be eligible for this investment option, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Make an investment of US$500,000.
  • Create full-time employment for at least 10 qualified U.S. workers, where indirect employment is permitted.

 

Investors must invest in an American business and work with that business over the next two years to create or retain 10 jobs.

 

Applicant must make an investment of $500,000 (it’s refundable after 5 years) in a selected and pre-approved project located in a rural or high unemployment area in the United States, in which the applicant’s investment must create 10 full-time jobs.
